Welcome to the West Kent Battalion Website
The West Kent Battalion was formed in 1898 and has been going ever since.
The Battalion runs from Dartford to Blackheath and currently has 11 active Companies.
These Companies are spread through the Boroughs of Bexley, Greenwich and Lewisham.
Most Companies offer a wide variety of events and activities according to their Staffing levels and numbers of Children.
Leaders are Men and Woman with a Christian commitment and all have current C.R.B status.
A wide and varied Activity and Competition Programme is run by the West Kent Battalion where Companies can compete
against other Companies in a variety of activities including Drill, Band, Sports, Quizzes and much more.
The Battalion organizes outings and trips and some weekends away for certain age groups.
We are proud of our long tradition in West Kent which is underpinned by a strong and long serving Officer base.
